Conquer the highest peak of the White Mountains | 2,453 m.
Experience the wild heart of Crete on an unforgettable hiking adventure to the summit of Pachnes.
The highest peak of the Lefka Ori
Standing at 2,453 metres, Pachnes is the highest peak of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) and the second-highest summit in Crete.
Our adventure takes us through the spectacular high-altitude landscapes of the White Mountains, where endless limestone formations, rugged mountain terrain and breathtaking panoramic views create an extraordinary alpine environment.
At the summit
Reach the summit and enjoy spectacular views stretching across the mountains of Crete and towards the Libyan Sea.
Far from the crowded tourist trails, this is an authentic mountain experience for those seeking adventure, solitude and a true connection with nature.
Before you go
The route is about 6 km round trip with roughly 430 m of ascent, on rocky, uneven limestone. A good physical condition is required. The season runs from late spring to autumn, depending on conditions in the high mountains.
